Job Description
Overview:

Reporting to and under the guidance of the Private Client Manager, the Private Client Operations Coordinator will oversee, assist with and be responsible for a variety of regular and recurring operational functions to support Private Client Operations. Researching, writing, and helping to implement procedure standards while adhering to regulatory compliance and meeting established goals and objectives along with ensuring complete commitment to the Bank's Core values and overall business objectives.


Responsibilities:
  • Maintains a culture in which quality and continuous improvement on all operational accountabilities and efficiency management are understood and utilized
  • Assists with all functions of the Private Client Group through effective communication and implementation of new/revised policies, procedures, and products/services
  • Subject matter expert; Maintains exceptional, thorough and current knowledge of all internal policies/ procedures/processes and bank products and services; monitors adherence to regulations, policies, and procedures and can carry out tasks to completion
  • Maintains exceptional knowledge of all retail systems, programs, tools and resources and is able to guide employees through questions
  • Demonstrate empathy when responding to internal and external concerns and issues, ensuring that all members feel valued and respected during all interactions
  • Maintains a high level of service, consistency and professionalism by delivering Kearny Banks Core Values to our internal clients
  • Completes all required forms, paperwork, required reports and requests timely and accurately
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the Private Client Group, upper management and branch network
  • Ensures privacy of customer information at all times

  • Regularly joins team meetings to ensure appropriate communication of pertinent information
  • Delivers exceptional guidance and support with enthusiasm; develops and motivates others to do the same in accordance with company's policies and applicable laws
  • Make recommendations on changes to address and draft new procedures and provide updates to
existing procedures as needed for the purpose of streamlining operational functions and to resolve misunderstandings of policies, procedures, and processes
  • Assist with special projects as needed

  • Conducts periodic reviews of policies and procedures. Provides recommendations regarding improvements which will further the banks objectives
Completes special projects as assignedQualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in banking or a financial institution required of which at least 3 years has been in a supervisory position
  • Knowledge of bank's products and services
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to act with integrity , demonstrate adaptability, work commitment and maintain a positive performance in all situations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access & Outlook
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Requires knowledge of standard office equipment including adding machines, calculators, PC literacy and basic typing skills
  • Ability to resolve conflict
