Printing Press Assistant

What you will do

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with paper for loading the press and hand throwing paper, working as part of a team with the press operator, along with other press and pre-press employees. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in set up, make ready and operation of our presses, while ensuring quality is maintained throughout pressruns. A few more responsibilities include routine standing, bending, lifting and good manual dexterity skills.

What you need to have

For this position, a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with being mechanically inclined and having good mechanical skills. Must be able to read a ruler and other measuring devices and have good basic math skills. Additional requirements include prior press experience, being able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for 10 hours per day, walk frequently, and have regular attendance.
