Print Production Assistant

We are seeking a Sign Production Assistant to add to our graphics' team.

This position requires experience in basic graphic design software.

Knowledge of Sign CAD, Adobe Illustrator / Corel software is very helpful.

In addition, specialized software training will be provided.

Knowledge and experience with operating digital printers, vinyl cutter/plotter and laminating machines are a bonus.

Preferred Requirements / Responsibilities of the Position:

• 1-3+ years graphic design and/or printing experience
• Operating a large format digital printer, vinyl cutter/plotter /laser/ lamination machine
• Strong knowledge of sign making materials; i.e. vinyl, substrates, etc. is a major plus
• Comfortable working on various large format printers
• Strong computer and file management skills including experience and knowledge of Adobe Suite Programs / Corel and proficient in vector design software
• Experience with sign industry software - Sign CAD, Adobe Illustrator, Omega
• Color Management
• Good math skills and mechanical aptitude required
• Take responsibility for the end-to-end workflow and execution of all sign and graphics projects, to include Design and Production
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area
• Prioritizing print requests and organizing graphics libraries and data
• Must be comfortable working on a PC
• Good font knowledge and usage is important
• Excellent grammar and spelling skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
