As the Product Manager for Globalization, you are a Leader at EBSCO. Your role is critical for the creation of Roadmaps, Domain Reviews, KPIs, and Long-Range Plans. This role will require analysis and due diligence of current systems for appropriate investment which will enable continuous improvement of EIS globalization for products, systems, and processes across EIS.

As a member of the Product Management team, you will take an active role in amplifying the voice of end users, customers, and buyers to inform and drive the product strategy through to the development teams. You will work with design teams, domestic and international sales teams, as well as other SaaS leaders to perform data-driven product analysis, and help monitor key technology trends to ensure positive outcomes for the evolution EIS.

Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the company’s leader and subject matter expert in Globalization, Internationalization, and Localization
- Collaborate with internal customers and key stakeholders to define the evolution of EBSCO’s Globalization vision and strategy
- Maintain 12-month roadmaps for immediate execution
- Lead the creation of key Globalization milestones providing a vision up to three years in advance
- Centralize localization services across the organization
- Communicate company-wide the vision and strategy for the Globalization domain
- Develops hands-on, in-depth knowledge of EIS products and commercial partner products, working with the stakeholders, as well as development and program teams to explain the importance of the globalization domain and providing equal access to EBSCO products for all users
- Specify market requirements for current and future evolutions of globalization by engaging with local markets around the globe
- Support the development of implementation plans
- Work with key stakeholders in the creation of EPICs (bodies of work) that reflect both product and technical understanding of the EIS globalization services as they relate to industry trends.

Requirements
- Expertise in Globalization
- Knowledgeable about software requirements and processes
- An ability to work with customers, executives, and developers
- Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree, preferably in related fields
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in product management and the software development lifecycle
- Can derive actionable insights from customer usage data
- Practical experience with globalization testing
- A proven track record of platform delivery of world-class consumer facing software or services
- Experience working within a Lean-agile software product development method, such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
- A history of mentoring and coaching peers
- A track record of highlighting difficult, systemic problems and working with others to define and implement effective solutions
- Understand technical systems sufficiently to assist with decision making and sequencing of key technology improvements needed to execute dependent features and functionality
- Leadership and coaching skills. Ability to successfully improve team performance through exemplary conduct, emotional intelligence, and non-intrusive teaching.
- Expertise in presenting to small and large groups, both domestic and international
- Ability to work with Sales and Marketing both internally, but also with customers, in formal and informal settings to show progress, planning, and enablement of sales/marketing materials
