Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) is looking for Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineers to work in a collaborative, iterative development environment. Our Systems Integration and Test Engineers provide technical direction and design/requirement clarification to software agile development teams, integration, and test personnel. They perform technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases, decomposing requirements, defining system interfaces, and helping determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team. The candidate will provide engineering support and technical direction for the execution of a portion of the program’s test program, test processes including baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation. Candidates will be responsible for definition and execution of formal testing and regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline for their technical scope - driving program performance, coordination with the test manager of the test products, schedules, and resources.

Security Clearance:
Ability to obtain a TS/SCI U.S. security clearance
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $15,000 for the candidate hired with an Active TS/SCI that can be verified before start at RIS
Required Skills:
- Experience in preparation and reporting of program plans, schedules, and metrics
- Experience in test verification of requirements
- Experience with integration and test procedures and plans
- Use of discrepancy report systems and developing closure plans
- Ability to the identify, manage, and mitigate technical risk
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors
Desired Skills:
- Systems Integration and/or Test Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
- Experience in technical baseline management
- Experience in management and integration of COTS/FOSS
- Experience in development of test architecture/framework
- Experience in systems engineering process development and deployment
- Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software, Integration and Verification teams
- Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using DOORS, Enterprise Architect and JIRA or similar tools
Required Experience and Education:
8 years of relevant experience with a BS degree typically STEM focused (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or 6 years with a MS degree
