Job Description
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting program/internal financial reporting requirements and assists with various financial analysis projects as requested.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Develop and maintain financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting
Prepare financial reporting packages for senior management
Scenario financial planning and analysis
Create and maintain ROI analysis for company investments
Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting financial schedules
Develop valuation analysis for executive team for prospective investments
Create and maintain cash flow models
Automation of financial models through Adaptive Insights
Develop dashboards for tracking and benchmarking company financial KPIs
Act as a liaison between various departments (i.e. Finance, Accounting, M&A, Tax, Program Teams) to lead financial projects
Support Business Areas with P&L research, budget to actual review, and other analysis
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends
Assist with and prepare various financial analysis projects
Self-starter with excellent problem solving skills
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Requires BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline with 9 years of experience in financial planning, analysis and/or financial reporting
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Advanced Financial Modeling & Reporting Experience (DCF modeling, Comparative Company Analysis modeling, other valuation models)
Experience with CPM solutions (i.e. Adaptive Insights, TM1, BPC, Hyperion)
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (M&A, Finance, Accounting, Contracts, Operations, Tax, and Supply Chain)
Strong technical financial knowledge of GAAP and financial statements (Consolidations/ P&L, CF, & Bal. Sht. Financial Statement Reporting)
Understanding of DOD contract finance terms, invoicing and cash collection
Experience with data integration & analytics and strong modeling skills
Experience in Aerospace and Defense industry
This position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with strong analytical ability
The ability to handle many tasks at one time and to work with deadlines
Self-starter & excellent problem-solving skills
A&D /Gov Con Industry Experience
Preferred
Strong presentation, communication, and professional skills and the ability to work independently and with some supervision and oversight
CFA or CPA certification
MBA or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
