Prime Services Operations Associate

Our Prime Brokerage Group is expanding our platform and we have an immediate opening for an entrepreneurial-minded Associate to join our team. Our clients primarily trade U.S. equity, options, futures and debt. This role will be responsible for providing operational support to a team of experienced professionals who are dedicated to service our Prime Brokerage clients.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Onboard prospective clients
• Assist in developing, nurturing, and cultivating client relations
• Develop a style of collaboration and professionalism which supplements our current offering
• Process wires, DWAC & DRS Transfers
• Research & resolve short sale/locate exceptions
• Locate and/or pre-borrow securities for clients
• Liaise between clients & credit team for margin calls
• Assist in resolving trade discrepancies (breaks)
• Import and process allocation & trade files
• Effect agency trades per client instructions
• Perform other duties as required and assigned

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field
• FINRA Series 7 and 63/66 licenses highly preferred
• 1-2+ years of Prime Brokerage experience preferred
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be highly organized and able to multitask
• Must have ability to work effectively and independently under supervision and tight deadlines
• Must be astute, adaptable, self-starter, and comfortable in a team environment
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
