Job Description

The Pricing Analyst is a key contributor within the organization. This position is responsible for supporting the purchasing, sales, and product team to determine customer price and set master pricing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver informed decisions about the appropriate price points for various products based on analysis of internal and external data
  • Assist product managers with analyzing market trends, including competitors’ prices and marketing strategies
  • Identify and solve product/pricing problems by gathering and analyzing relevant data
  • Maintain pricing in SAP for master, customer, and promotion levels
  • Work with sales managers on promotion opportunities considering retail strategy and margin
  • Perform company cost and transfer cost analysis
  • Audit HQ driven cost files and transfer costs
  • Support annual sales budget
  • Work with IT team to maintain data integrity and accuracy
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and other special projects as required
  • Perform some month end duties as assigned (GP reporting)
  • Communicate ideas and changes effectively to different departments, leadership, and HQ

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or a combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a financial or accounting position is required
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office tools is required
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and data visualization skills are required
  • Financial analytics with deep understanding of revenue, margin and pricing
  • Working knowledge accounting principles is required
  • Experience using SAP or similar ERP system is required
