We are currently seeking a Pricebook Specialist for our Houston, TX location.


Purpose:
The Pricebook Specialist will be a critical part of the newly developed Commercialization group, which will support organizational transformation through innovation and continuous improvement. This position will assist and work with the Accounts Receivable department, Operations teams, and external Customers to implement, maintain and execute price book functions. The Pricebook Specialist will be the owner and developer of our future processes and technologies to support the integrated electronic invoicing validation process.

Essential Job Duties and Responsabilities:

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure data integrity in all aspects of KLX’s ERP system (TrakQuip); maintain pricing schedules and proactively manage Pricing Grids.
  • Responsible for all updates to pricing schedules and EDI data mapping from KLX’s ERP system to external invoicing systems.
  • Provide technical and operational support for Operations and Customers to minimize ticketing and invoicing delays; troubleshooting and resolve errors, missing data or pricing errors.
  • Responsible for being the center of knowledge for all customer invoicing systems, including but not limited to, Open Invoice, Actian, Ariba.
  • Summarize and report current and historical pricing data, upcoming updates and expiring pricing agreements.
  • Track, monitor and document problems to ensure timely resolution
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finanace, Information Technology or any other applicable area of study
  • 0-2 years of related work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Extensive familiarity with database programs, very profocient with technology
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, and strong organization skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or any other applicable area of study
  • 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Experience working with ERP systems
