Job Tile: School Director

Position Overview
The School Director position requires a hands-on and highly collaborative leader who - in partnership with the leadership team - will implement educational strategies and support a service-oriented culture. As part of the management team you will strengthen the school's operations and build enrollment through preparation and service. Working closely with your team you will deliver results; you remove roadblocks and ensure the school is operating at 100% capacity and maintain customer satisfaction standards while controlling expenses and managing employee production and performance.
Our program serves preschool children 6 weeks - 12 years of age. Programs include, Infant, Toddler, Preschool 1 Preschool 2, Pre-K, and Before and After Care.

WhoWould I Interactwith?
This position interacts daily with customers, assistant management team, teaching staff, assigned operations personal, maintenance and custodial teams just to name a few.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Forecast goals and objectives and strive to meet them.
  • Prepare and/or administer an annual operating budget.
  • Understand, keep abreast of and comply with state and local regulations.
  • Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all facility staff.
  • Submit and/or maintain payroll and personnel documentation as required by region.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with other departments and customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Ensure customer concerns/complaints are handled appropriately.
  • Prepare and serve daily meals/snacks.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Director Qualified for the State of Wisconsin
  • BA or AA in Early childhood education or CDA (Have reached Level 14 per the WI Registry)
  • Prior Managerial Experience in a Preschool Setting
  • Strong business management skills.

  • Development of marketing strategies is a must.
  • Have full complete knowledge of standard office practices.
  • Strong customer service, organization, and listening skills. Above average on verbal and written skills.
  • Possess skills, attributes and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with customers, vendors, team members, and clients.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel.
  • Salary dependent on experience and level of education.
