Job Description
Summary
We are a small Montessori School in Fall City looking for assistant teachers in our Preschool or Toddler classroom.
The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teachers by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. S/he must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. S/he must believe in a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents.
The ideal candidate is looking for the opportunity to work in a positive, supportive work environment.
This position can be part time or full time.

Duties
- Assist in the implementation of activities and encourage participation by children.
- Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
- Help ensure smooth, daily transition between home and school.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

- Must clear full background check
- Must currently be living in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Food Handlers Permit
- BBP/HIV training
- STARS number
- 30 hours of Childcare Basic Training
- Previous experience in a Montessori classroom
