Job Description
Our client, a well-known North-Carolina based General Contractor, seeks a Preconstruction Manager to oversee all estimating efforts for their Raleigh office. This award-winning construction firm has a strong presence throughout the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. building landmark projects in a variety of sectors including multi-family, K-12, healthcare, hospitality, higher ed, and more.

Required Skills Experience:
- 4-Year degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of estimating experience on ground-up construction projects such as schools, hotels, multifamily communities, healthcare facilities, senior-living facilities, classroom buildings, rec centers and/or museums.
- Demonstrated proficiency in estimating software programs such as SmartBid, Plan Swift, MC2, or Bluebeam as well as strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good working relationships with local subcontractors and vendors across all divisions.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and plan details for the sake of identifying potential scope gaps and reviewing estimates and bids for accuracy.
- Strategic candidate with the ability to value engineer solutions and help position the company for project proposals and presentations.
