Work Schedule: Nights with Rotation to Days Weekend and Holiday Rotation

Summary:
Provides cardiopulmonary respiratory therapy to the inpatient and outpatient populations as ordered by a physician, according to established standards and practices.
EDUCATION
- Either: (1) Associates Degree with Certification in Respiratory Therapy or (2) Graduated from High School or equivalent, and has completed an approved one (1) year certificate program in Respiratory Therapy Technology or a Respiratory program determined by the Department to be equivalent and at least five (5) years of experience required
- Licensed New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician required
- BLS within (2) two months of employment
- Three (3) months of experience as a license eligible Respiratory Therapy Technician required
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
