Work Schedule: Nights with Rotation to Days Weekend and Holiday Rotation
Hours: 8pm-9am with rotation to 9am-10pm and 7am-8pm. Weekend, holiday and call rotation
Summary:

Provides cardiopulmonary respiratory therapy to the inpatient and outpatient populations as ordered by a physician, according to established standards and practices.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

• Either: (1) Associates Degree with Certification in Respiratory Therapy or (2) Graduated from High School or equivalent, and has completed an approved one (1) year certificate program in Respiratory Therapy Technology or a Respiratory program determined by the Department to be equivalent and at least five (5) years of experience required
• Licensed New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician required
• BLS within (2) two months of employment

EXPERIENCE

• Three (3) months of experience as a license eligible Respiratory Therapy Technician required
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
