JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW


The HR Strategy Consultant interacts directly with senior level leaders to provide consultative recommendations, tools and interventions to assist TriNet customers in linking their people, strategy and culture to optimize business performance. The person in this role will act as a thought partner, trusted advisor and subject matter expert that assesses organizational gaps and provides scalable strategies and recommendations that promote transformational change and ensure high customer satisfaction and retention. This highly experienced HR individual will be accountable for understanding business lifecycle concepts and developing deep knowledge of the assigned clients and ensuring TriNet HR services are integrated and aligned with the clients’ business objectives. Possesses expertise including but not limited to employee onboarding strategies, talent management, workforce planning, succession planning, survey analysis and action planning, compensation planning, culture alignment, organization and team development, employee and leadership development, process improvement, org structure, M&A integration and change management.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


• Creates, delivers, and manages a broad set of strategic HR solutions and initiatives to help customers develop align their strategy, people, and operations to drive business results.
  • Meets with customers (in person and over phone) to understand their Human capital processes, business goals and objectives and delivers relevant solutions to meet their needs.
  • May support the Enterprise Account Executive function to guide/support clients through complex, difficult, and sensitive human resource and employee relations issues including HR policies, rules, regulations or coordinating the delivery, as appropriate, of TriNet compliance, benefits, or other services.
  • Conducts assessments and diagnostics to identify organizational strengths and gaps and presents information to senior leadership, including recommendations and best practices that drive growth and improvement.
  • Conducts ongoing research and maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management and compliance, and applies this knowledge to develop and improve our portfolio of strategic HR offerings.
  • Coordinates with manager and account management team to develop and deploy written project plans, proposals, statements of work and account plans with succinct project deliverables, timelines and return on customer expectations.
  • Serves as an advocate and subject matter expert to promote Talent and Org Management services and capabilities to TriNet teams, prospects and customers.
  • Consistently logs client interactions in the CRM system to ensure service continuity and allow for accurate cost of providing service evaluation.
  • Follows high standards of performance, quality, and accountability to achieve business outcomes.
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS


Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree desired; or equivalent education and/or related work experience.
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
  • PHR / SHRM-CP preferred
Experience:
  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Comfortable working at the C-Suite level to direct and influence executive customers.
  • Possesses advanced knowledge in change management, organizational awareness and business acumen.
  • Strong formal presentation/facilitation skills with the ability to adjust appropriately to the audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate, and present thoughts clearly and concisely to senior level executives.
  • Ability to take a creative idea and put into practice.
  • Ability to develop connections and generate interest and buy-in from senior leaders regarding Talent and Org Management services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to absorb new information quickly while working in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
