Role: Powder Coat Painter
You may see yourself in this role, if you are an experienced powder coat painter, a strong work ethic, two years prior manufacturing experience, and are looking for a serious career opportunity.
You will perform a range of tasks in the painting of a transformer tank and parts:

  • Perform powder coat painting in both automatic and manual sections of the paint system. Check humidity and temperature in the environmental room and assures enough storage of paint in environment room.
  • Set and adjust atomizing, flow rate, correct voltage, feed hopper and powder pumps at the control consoles for both manual and automatic systems.
  • Load and unload parts on and off conveyor, start and set-up conveyor as required.
  • Clean and replenish tanks with chemicals.
  • Keep system clean to insure efficiency and maximum safety.

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Two years of prior manufacturing experience;
  • Ability to work evening or night shift;
  • Able to work over-time as needed;
  • Resides within reasonable commuting distance-no relocation assistance available.
