Position Summary:
The Policy Regulatory Quality Coordinator (PRQC) is responsible for the coordination and project management of maintaining practice guiding documents. The Policy Regulatory Quality Coordinator collaborates with members of the quality team, system leaders, key stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop and/or optimize document content. The PRQC collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure compliance with applicable state/federal regulatory requirements. The PRQC promotes tools and techniques that drive the use of ID-PDSA, accepted performance improvement methods and High Reliability Organization (HRO) principles and practices. Collaborates with operational partners on projects and policy and procedure development and/or revision in accordance with Washington State?s quality improvement and medical malpractice prevention program, applicable regulations, Federal Laws and The Joint Commission requirements. The PRQC communicates and escalates issues to the local and system quality director on a regular basis.
Minimum Requirements:
Three (3) years of practice in a clinical setting
Three (3) years of experience leading/working on a large system and/or quality project preferred
Previous experience with computerized information systems (email, MS Office including Excel, Epic, healthcare data and benchmarking systems, etc.) required
Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications
Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Licensed in the State of Washington as a Registered Nurse
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within three years from the initial date of hire
Advanced Degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
