Poker Floor Supervisor Job Description
Reports To
The Poker Floor Supervisor will report to the Poker Director
Job OverviewImplement and ensure compliance with Washington State Gambling Commission regulations, company internal control policies and safety regulations. Train supervise and monitor performance of staff to ensure smooth and efficient gaming operations during shift.
Responsibilities and Duties
Supervise the operation of up to seven gaming tables.
Ensure fills/credits are handled in accordance with regulations and policies.
Promote positive guest relations. Assist in answering questions or resolving disputes.
In collaboration with shift manager, coordinate dealer work schedules and ensure that games are supplied with sufficient and proper equipment.
Creates a positive, professional atmosphere for staff and guests.
Instill an atmosphere that encourages staff to share ideas, discuss concerns and resolve conflicts.
Perform other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum six months dealing experience and appropriate licensure.
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED
Working knowledge of pull tab operations, knowledge of State of Washington Gambling regulations and rules.
- Must be able to review and comprehend all documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all times, with all levels of employees and guests.
- Ability to interface effectively with the public and co-workers.
- Neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Superior guest relation skills are necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment. Must be able to stand, walk or sit for long periods of time, speak and hear, write, finger and feel, lift and carry up to thirty pounds (30 lbs.) and occasionally more. Employee frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and endure variable temperature conditions (extreme hot or cold). Must be 21 years of age or older.
