Plumbing Apprentice

F.H. Furr is starting an eight-week long, fully-paid Plumbing Apprentice program on January 25th, 2021 at the Furr Academy, which is located at our headquarters in Manassas, VA. This program is open to a maximum of 5 individuals.

This program is designed to create an entry-level Plumbing Service Technician after the completion of training.

While in training - a combination of classroom training as well as on-the-job (ride-along) training, apprentices will be paid $600 per week. The first full year of work after training should see an achievable compensation range from $50,000 to $70,000.

Qualifications:

• Must be mechanically inclined

• Ability to work independently, maintain a “can do” attitude and be a team player

• Commitment to truly serving customers needs

• Effectively communicate issues, repairs, and recommendations to customers

• Attention to detail, demonstrate speed, accuracy in the completion of tasks

• Must have a good driving record - a company vehicle will be provided before training is completed
