Platform Product Management Director – Multi-domain User and Application Data Services

Position Summary

You will serve in a leadership position helping to design and evolve the Change Healthcare Intelligent Healthcare Platform (IHP). This is a highly technical position where you will work with Platform team leadership, engineering, and enterprise architecture to build platform components and APIs/automation to support internal and external applications. You will be responsible for defining and driving product roadmap in alignment with the broader platform vision, and you will play a critical role in integrating components and applications across all of Identity and Rights Management and Core Services in the Platform. Your focus will be on the Master Data Management platform and APIs to support user management / enrollment / provisioning, entitlement management, and alignment with business applications. You will be a linchpin for identity and policy management services in the Platform.

What will I be responsible for in this job?

  • Provide master data management platform components and APIs to support healthcare business applications and services. You will provide the foundation for other teams and data owners to effectively populate, coordinate, and manage multi-domain data.
  • Work closely with enterprise architects to assure appropriate definition and governance of namespace domains.
  • Define and drive user, profile, and entitlement management in coordination with business units and platform component teams. This includes automation capabilities, management components, and user registration and enrollment services.
  • Be the spokesperson and representative for your product area to customers, stakeholders, partners, and executives. Act as a leader within the company and serve as a product expert for designated set of products
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap that support business and operational needs including business requirements (with prioritized features and corresponding business justification) and product implementation

What are the requirements?

  • Minimum of 9+ years broad and deep product management experience with a strong technical background required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; BSCS, BSEE or equivalent, MSCS or MBA preferred.

What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?

  • History of creating, developing, and growing platform products - ideally has been a product line manager for platform products in the past
  • Background / domain knowledge in at least two of the following: identity management, directory services, security token services, distributed policy management, data labeling, big data
  • Must be comfortable with technology and able to earn the respect of engineers and architects – ideally, you have a technical platform architecture background
  • Experience and understanding of all aspects of product management including inbound product management (defining detailed use cases/epics, detailed requirements, and driving schedules) and outbound (pricing, go to market, messaging, sales enablement)
  • Thorough working knowledge and track record with lean and agile development processes
  • Enterprise and large enterprise segment experience
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment
  • Experience with compliance – bonus points if this has been in the healthcare arena
  • Bonus points for healthcare data background
  • Leads from the front – leading by example and guiding with compassion
  • Internalizes the importance of setting goals and measuring progress towards those goals
  • Desire and drive to build and represent a team that leaders across the company hold up as a model to emulate
