What You’ll Do:
Champion Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards. Enforce all Company and regulatory policies, rules, and regulations.
Conduct Training. Conduct site-specific training for employees, vendors, or other persons at the facility.
Communicate and Coordinate. Communicate with employees regarding work assignments and correcting problems. Assist in troubleshooting production issues.
Assist with Various Tasks. Work through various assignments, such as assisting with financial reports, payroll, or procurement activities.
Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Skills You’ll Need :
Functional and Safety Knowledge. Must exhibit high levels of competency, skill, and proficiency in daily mining operations.
Flexibility. Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Interpersonal Skills. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Ready to Drive. Must have a valid driver’s license and have excellent driving skills.
