Seeking a Family Practice with OB Physician

Asante is seeking a Family Practice physician to join our Primary Care team in Ashland, Oregon. This full-time position will be primarily outpatient with three shifts a week on-call inpatient OB. This is an opportunity to join our amazing team of physicians, advance practice providers, and an excellent support staff. If you love the outdoors, you will love living in Southern Oregon!

POSITION REQUIREMENTS



Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school. Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program. Completed fellowship in OB strongly preferred.

License / Certification: MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners; Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association; Board Certified / Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties; Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Experience: Advanced analytical skills regarding evaluation and treatment; ability to use professional approach to problem solving during stressful situations; communication with others that reflects a positive attitude and enthusiasm; and behavior that exemplifies organizational philosophy.
