What You Will Do:
1.Oversee the development, implementation and monitoring of all medical policies and procedures throughout the agency.
2. Provide leadership for the agency’s MAT services, developing and updating appropriate policies and procedures and educating other doctors and staff about MAT.
3. Assist in developing and monitoring telehealth capacity of the agency.
4. Represent Outreach to the Medical Community.
5. Provide and/or supervise the provision of physicals for all adolescents entering our residential facilities.
6. Provide psychiatric evaluations, as well as ongoing care for those clients requiring it.
7. Appropriately prescribe and monitor all clients prescribed medications.
8. As appropriate, review and/or consult on psychiatric evaluations performed by other treating psychiatrists/MDs assisting within the outpatient facilities.
9. Appropriately interact with outpatient clinical staff and communicates information related to the diagnosis and care of clients including the effects of any medication on client functioning and participate in case conferences as appropriate.
10. Document all activities on agency forms and/or where applicable, within the agency’s electronic health record.
11. Review, provide feedback and sign off on treatment plans, as requested.
12. Supervise all medical staff on medical procedures and practices and provide appropriate health related updates and training.
13. Seek opportunities to enhance health services through outside affiliations that can benefit clients in care.
14. Provide on call assistance regarding consultations related to client care.
15. Participate in Dr. to Dr. Reviews with MMC and/or other insurance providers, as required.
16. Utilize and/or ensure appropriate use of the I-Stop Look up.
17. Oversee appropriate Bureau of Narcotics Licensure for the residences.
18. Monitor and sign off on agency’s Opioid Overdose Prevention Training Certificate.
19. Monitor and sign off on agency’s CLIA license that allows for the administration of specific waived tests.
20. Attend agency Leadership meetings, as needed.
21. Participate and/or attend external conferences as appropriate to benefit the organization and patients served.
22. Provide collaborative oversight on medical trainings provided by Outreach Training Institute.
Who You Are:
Maintain appropriate licensure to perform the functions required. ?
Maintain professional liability coverage in the amount of $1M per wrongful act/$3M aggregate. ?
Assist with the provision of psychiatric assessments and care at other agency locations across the agency in the absence of consulting medical personnel. ?
Will provide a minimum of one-month notice prior to any foreseeable leave ?
Will provide 90-day notice prior to resignation of position. ?
Commit to the use of electronic prescribing and the use of the agency’s electronic health record. ?
Appropriately use/update the Health Commerce System. ?
Follow all other applicable laws and regulations.
