SALARY: Placement per Professional Staff Master Contract

CONDITIONS: Per Master Contract

STARTING DATE: 2021/2022 School Year

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• 
  Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Physical Education (MX).
• Previous experience teaching upper elementary-aged students in a physical education setting.
• Experience in designing and facilitating lessons and activities with clear standards-aligned learning targets and success criteria.
• Ability to effectively assess student learning, implement strategies for student engagement, and promote student ownership of learning.
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and pedagogy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in establishing a safe, collaborative classroom environment and culture.
• Ability to develop and maintain appropriate relationships and rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability and proficiency in professional collaboration and communication.
• Demonstrated proficiency in usage and application of technology, preferably the Google platform.

Preferred

• Grade level endorsement in another content area.
