Covenant Health is seeking a Full-time, Day Shift Phlebotomist for Laboratory - HOPD Department at Grace Medical Center.
Job Summary:
Performs capillary and venous blood collection, and delivers/processes laboratory specimens under the direction of the supervisor.
Essential Functions:
- Performs capillary and venous blood collections.
- Labels all tubes and aliquots accurately, immediately upon collection.
- Recognizes priorities and plans for the completion of remaining duties.
- Performs all procedures per established department policy and procedure.
Preferred Position Qualifications:
Education:
- Coursework/Training Graduate from an accredited venipuncture school with Venipuncture Certificate.
Experience:
- 2 years Experience in blood specimen collections on adults and children in a hospital environment.
