Pharmacy Technician - Item Entry

In order to support the CDC recommendations on social distancing and reduce health risks for associates, members and public health, Humana is deploying virtual and video technologies for all hiring activities. This position may be subject to temporary work at home requirements for an indefinite period of time. These requirements include access to a personal computing device with a camera, a minimum internet connection speed of 10m x 1m, and a dedicated secure home workspace for interview or work purposes.
Humana continues to monitor the situation, and will adjust service levels as the coronavirus situation evolves. Responsibilities

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician is responsible for transcribing prescription information sent directly to the mail order Pharmacy.

Summary of Department Queues and Responsibilities:

• Item Entry: Entering prescriptions in ePost sent by physicians to be further processed by other departments.
• Dr. Call Tech Response: Updating orders based on clarifications received by physicians.

Earn a $500 hiring bonus! Bonus is paid after 180 days of employment; you must be employed until that date to be eligible to receive the payment.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have an active Pharmacy Technician or Tech in Training license in OHIO
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician/Technician in Training in a pharmacy or similar role.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician in the state of Ohio
• Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Mail Order Pharmacy or Retail Pharmacy experience
