Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/CNA

We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of direct care experience, have a working cell phone, and a reliable vehicle. Starting Pay for non certified caregivers is $8.50/hr. Must sign up and take PCA classes within 30 days after hired. Starting pay for CNAs and PCAs, starting pay is $9/hr and increases based on prior experience. Everyone is hired on as part time, but hours may fluctuate pending our clients needs. Please see below some other traits we are looking for.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clients receive their medication on time
• Support clients who can’t move on their own
• Help clients dress, bathe, eat etc.
• Assist clients with physical therapy exercises (lifting maybe required)
• Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions
• Help customers with their shopping
• Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
• Provide emotional support
• Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Reading, writing, and carrying out directions
• Charting or taking notes for others to review
• Providing companionship and supportive listening
• Reporting changes in the health or status of the client
• Feeding clients
• Responding to emergency situations
• Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
