Job Description
We Are Hiring: We are looking for a PRN Speech Therapist with knowledge of treating dysphagia. PRN need during the week Monday through friday with weekend requirements of 3 weekends per quarter at Peyton Manning Childrens HospitalWhat You Will Do: Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech-language therapy.

Responsibilities:
- Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
- Educate and counsel patient and family regarding treatment plans.
- Maintain clinical records and follow performance improvement recommendations.
- Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services. Provide information regarding appropriate support programs.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required:
- Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Or Temporary Permit obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. If hired with Temporary Permit, must pass boards and obtain SLP credential within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Indiana Board of Speech-Language Pathology Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Or Temporary Permit obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. If hired with Temporary Permit, must pass boards and obtain SLP credential within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
- Hospital/medical experience is preferred over school experience
