PC Technician OR Field Technician (Fresher)

Role: First line Technician

Location: Manhattan, New York, Philadelphia, PA, Long Island, NY, St. Louis, MO 63107, Salt Lake City, UT 84111

Responsibility:

• Perform minor maintenance on ATMs Tasks: replacing light bulbs, card reader belts, air filters, etc.
• Perform basic installation functions Tasks: pulling cable, mounting devices, installing Mas-Hamilton locks
• Perform technical fixes Tasks: clearing paper jams, card jams, bill jams, etc.

You are responsible for:

• Prioritize and plan service calls (30%): Contact customer with the estimated time of arrival; escalate problems when appropriate; reassign calls when appropriate; accurately report service data.
• Interact in a professional manner with customers to foster positive customer relations (20%).
• Complete equipment cleanings as specified by Diebold contracts (5%).
• Perform minor maintenance on ATMs (10%): replacing light bulbs, card reader belts, air filters, etc.
• Perform basic installation functions (5%): pulling cable, mounting devices, installing Mas-Hamilton locks.
• Perform technical fixes (30%): clearing paper jams, card jams, bill jams, etc.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate
• Vocation or specialized training beyond high school Military training or Technical Trade School
• Must be able to work holidays
• Must be able work weekends
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week
• Stand most of day 80%
• Occasional lifting of heavy loads 5%
• Ability to operate vehicle without restrictions beyond corrective eyewear
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
• Must be able bend and stoop frequently
• Repetitive motion (incl data entry, etc.)
• Approx. ?50-mile travel range.
