Job Description
Key Functions

Lead our due diligence practice in a collaborative manner with the employee benefits due diligence leader. Reporting to the Financial Institutions Practice Leader

First stop to handle new DD engagements. The idea is that the leader would handle the majority of engagements. The leader would be the primary diligence resource for those HUBs that do not have their own due diligence resources, and support, peer review, coach and mentor those that do.

Once going forward business is won, that placement and servicing is passed to the appropriate super region based on what is best for the customer.

Identify, train and mentor a team of regional due diligence professionals organized by geography, industry and coverage specialty to develop excess capacity and specialized centres of due diligence excellence, i.e. healthcare in the South.

Help identify and work with subject matter experts to help DD engagements across North America, i.e. D&O, pollution, aviation, etc.

Identifying and evaluating and collaborating with HUB’s experts across North America to leverage HUB’s best resources for diligence projects.

Training due diligence team members on how to manage a due diligence project, key components of a due diligence report, using our systems, etc.

Re-designing our due diligence report generation system, SE Proposals

Review and update our due diligence presentation report format

Selling our DD value proposition to different HUBs and private equity clients across North America

Continuously improving our due diligence process

Continuously developing your own technical insurance knowledge and keeping up to speed with new products and trends in the market.

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Up to 25%

Required Education: High school or equivalent
