Position Summary: The Payroll Manager will implement, maintain and review payroll processing and benefit management systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll and benefit transactions.
Job responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
  • Collect, calculate and enter/update data into payroll system for all exempt and non-exempt employees
  • Collects and validates timekeeping information
  • Administers
  • Prepares reports
  • Balances payroll
  • Determines payroll liabilities
  • Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements and guidelines
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects employee and Company
  • Files all necessary compliance reporting
  • Coordinates with HR Manager and Accounting to ensure all W-2 and 1099 are accurate and
Skills and qualifications:
  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Management of benefits programs a plus
  • Restaurant experience a plus
  • Knowledge of all federal, state and local regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, especially excel
  • Excellent time management skills including ability to think ahead to set priorities
