This position is based in Las Vegas, the UFC’s hometown and the Fight Capital of the World. This position is responsible for all payroll functions for the company’s domestic and international locations, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. This position also supports the HR team with benefits administration.

This position is responsible for all payroll functions for the company’s domestic and international locations, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. This position also supports the HR team with benefits administration.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate processing and recording of UFC bi-weekly, semi-monthly and monthly payrolls for over 400 world-wide employees in a fast-paced environment.
- Collect pay data for processing, including new hires, terminations, changes, bonus payments, coordinate with Human Resources regarding personnel changes (e.g. short-term disability, terminations, pay rate changes, etc.)
- Process child support and garnishment orders.
- Process off-cycle paychecks as necessary.
- Coordinate with employees, department managers, partner with Human Resources, and Finance & Accounting staff to resolve payroll-related issues as they arise.
- Research and resolve issues that may arise with notices from various tax jurisdictions.
- Verify accuracy of W-2s on a regular basis.
- Maintain confidential reports for Finance leadership and prepare other reporting as needed, including Worker’s Compensation, and other ad hoc reports.
- At least 3-5 years payroll experience required; experience processing multi-state payroll and International payroll preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Experience with Paylocity and Workday are preferred.
- Current knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding payroll, understanding of proper taxation of employer-paid benefits a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Must possess problem-solving and analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential material and communicate with all levels of management.
