Job Description

The Center for Hematology-Oncology at Boca Raton Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Financial Services Manager responsible for managing and leading the Accounts Receivable (AR) Team. This individual will ensure that the AR team is fully staffed, trained and appropriately organized to support business needs. The position must provide strong leadership, team building and role modeling.

Additional primary responsibilities include:

1) Optimize the successful management and collection process for all payers – both governmental and non-governmental.

2) Manage the business analyst function related to the revenue cycle collections, ADR, medical record, and audit requests.

3) AR resolution including monitoring business metrics and performance reporting.

4) Collaborate in the development of policies and procedures to ensure efficient AR processes.

5) Develop strong internal control and compliant environment over the AR Team, claims processing and payer reimbursement.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Minimum of 3 years of AR management experience

· Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills required

· Ability to adapt to fast-changing environment

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel (Microsoft Teams a plus)

· Must have attention to detail, capability of identifying priorities, and documenting progress

· Extensive knowledge and experience in government and non-government billing procedures

· Innovative with new solutions/processes and automation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
