Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is looking to hire a Patient & Equipment Transporter for our Patient Transport Department.
As a Patient and Equipment Transporter you will assist the hospital with internal transportation of patients and distribution of assigned equipment. You will respond to customer questions and requests in a timely manner. You will execute established procedures for decontamination, inspection, delivery of equipment and customer services relations.
About this Position: Patient and Equipment Transport has been an integral part of internal patient movement at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center for 15 years. We are looking for someones who takes great pride to transport patients quickly, reduce their wait time, and help them relax as much as possible by ensuring them that wherever they are going, they will be in GREAT hands. We strive to develop strong relationships with nursing, surgery, imaging, ED, Endoscopy and Administrative staff. We believe that first and foremost, the patient in front of you is the most important patient at that time.
General Requirements:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required.
- Prior experience in customer service and/or patient care.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
