Medical Surgical Innovation unit consists of 46 beds - (26) - COVID patients & (20) - Non-COVID patients with a PCT to Patient ratio of 1:10 Max

Join our team of highly skilled & dedicated nurses on our Medical Surgical Innovation unit. Our associates provide excellent, compassionate care for our patients as well as each other. Our associates are flexible, hardworking and learn to be adept at critical thinking. We practice an accountable care model where we do interdisciplinary Rounding each day on our patients. In the innovation unit, we are looking for engaged and positive people to help find ways to change healthcare for the future.

PATIENTS WE SERVE:

Our patient population is a large variety of diagnoses and patients with multiple comorbidities: A large variety of respiratory illnesses, renal failure, diabetes, COVID and many other diagnoses.

Requirements:

  • Rotating shift
  • Minimum requirement of (2) - 12-hour shifts per 6-week schedule
  • One Minor Holiday and Major Holiday per year
  • Be able to go through orientation/training at a minimum of part-time hours for a duration of time.

What You Will Do: Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
Responsibilities:
  • Aid with movement and placement of patients.
  • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.
  • Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
  • High school diploma or GED required
