Patient Care Technician

Position Objective:
This position exists to assist patients with activities of daily living, perform technical skills and assist in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/Clinical Coordinator in charge of the patient care module(s). The individual must demonstrate ability to deliver care reflective of the patient’s' requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs, and as described in the unit/area/department policies and procedures.

Education/Certification/Registration/Licensure:

High School graduate or GED equivalent required.

Must Have a Maryland CNA and/or GNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) required.

Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Experience Requirements:
One year of current experience in a hospital environment with strong computer skills
