Job Title: Parts Processor
Department: ProductionReports to: Production SupervisorSummary: This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of parts processing operations and will perform the manual operations involved with molding and extrusion machine operations as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operate all molding equipment in the forming and processing of product.
- Gets work stations and equipment ready for production.
- Performs operations such as drilling and screw shooting
- Performs flaming and pour stations duties.
- Makes minor changes and adjustment to machinery and equipment such as changing tools and notifies leads and supervisors when process is out of standard operating procedure.
- Maintains quality standards.
- Keeps work station in order and readily participates in housekeeping duties.
- Supports and maintains a safe workplace, including observing all safety rules
- Supports Continuous Improvement/Lean initiatives
Job Requirements
- 2 – 6 months experience –manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally
- Must maintain neat appearance
- Must be flexible in working overtime, different shifts and weekends.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a variety of moving mechanical equipment. Employees may be exposed to temperature variations in the plant of 35° – 120° F depending on the season. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
