Parts Pro II

Description

We are looking for a talented Parts Technician to join our team specializing in Parts Pro for our Northwest Parts Central in Portland, OR .

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Under some supervision, enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock/inventory and training records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules.) Perform other routine administrative activities according to the organization's established procedures. These activities may include responding to customer escalations, order allocation, part profile & inventory records; preparing reports, training operators, customs compliance processes, domestic and international transportation related procedures and completing forms (receipt, transfer, delivery, dispatch, etc.)

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports and advanced level computer skills
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
  • This role is customer facing and requires excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must possess the ability to effectively problem solve situations as they arise between multiple business units and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be willing to operate as part of a team where daily duties may change as workload fluctuations occur and other situations present themselves.
  • Must be comfortable in both an office and a warehouse environment.
  • Candidate must be detail oriented and understand how to operate with extreme precision.
  • Demonstrate an ability to understand and review existing processes, while looking for opportunities to improve the daily operations.
  • Excel proficiency with the ability to generate spreadsheets that track and maintain customer order information.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
