Parts Sales Representative – Manassas

ABOUT US

East Coast Truck & Trailer Sales, Inc, located in Colchester Park of Manassas, is a leading dealer for the towing and recovery community. We sell a range of vehicles from wreckers and rollbacks to rotators, and we specialize in all things towing!

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Parts Sales Representative to sell and deliver parts for the towing and recovery industry to the surrounding areas of DC, lower Maryland area, and Manassas area; as well as work the Parts Counter at our physical store in Colchester Park. Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record for this position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, include but not limited to:

· Generate new customer accounts.

· Service and maintain existing accounts.

· Sell towing and recovery parts and services.

· Deliver Parts to customers with company provided vehicle.

· Receive payments or obtain credit authorization.

· Assist with inventory and maintaining stock levels.

· Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers' descriptions of malfunctions.

· Enhance customer retention by monitoring customer satisfaction with parts support and by responding to customer concerns/requests.

· Provide management oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, market situation, competitive activities, and potential for new products/services.

· Follow Company pricing guidelines and procedures

SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Knowledge of Karmak system a plus

· Prior experience with outside parts sales, over the road heavy and medium duty truck fleet parts and maintenance a plus, but not necessary.

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within our company.

Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Range: $19-$24/hr
