The succesful candidate will have the opportunity to allocate and distribute parts and materials for service repairs and handle parts orders, perform other assigned Parts Department functions, including inventory control of parts and materials in stock and on order. You would be in frequent contact with employees and constant contact with customers and other outside staff, giving you the opportunity to build and maintain good customer relations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ordering parts as needed
- Creating, processing and managing Cloud Purchase Orders
- Maintaining inventory
- General housekeeping
- Daily cycle counts
- Process reports and reconcile issues concerning inventory
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support production
- Compile received invoices and packing lists
- Reconcile vendor invoice discrepancies and work with Accounts Payable and vendors to resolve any problems, prior to obtaining manager approval
- Updating maintenance records
- Work through Goods Received / Invoice Received problems to resolution
- Manage maintenance files
- Creating and drafting EXCEL reports
- Accurately and promptly input inventory adjustments to required computer systems for vendor received materials and plant-to-plant transfers
Qualifications, the succesful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years administrative experience
- Attention to detail
- Experience utilizing a computer with parts ordering databases
- 5 years trucking or parts experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- High organization skills
- Able to work in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat and pull
- Carry and lift objects up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, sitting and walking
- Performing repetitive motions
Work Environment - possible exposure to the following:
- Paint, fumes and particles
- Dirt and Dust
- Chemicals / Toxins
- Varying heat / cold
- Intermittent noise
