The Accounting Area in the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly is creating a pool of eligible part-time lecturers for possible teaching assignments in taxation during the Summer, Fall, Winter, and/or Spring Quarters of the 2020-2021 academic year. The College of Business offers a master's in accountancy with a tax specialization and undergraduate classes in taxation. The area is seeking qualified applicants that can teach taxation at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels in the following subject areas: multistate taxation, international, individual, corporate, partnership, estate and gift and/or reorganizations.

Assignments are contingent upon class availability, scheduling, budget and enrollments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in taxation or accounting, related discipline, or professional certification required. Must demonstrate a strong teaching record and currency in professional field. Professional and/or teaching experience required.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

The person holding this position is considered a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
