Part-time Infant And Toddler Teaching Assistant

Summary

The Learning Garden is seeking an energetic Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher to join their team. The Learning Garden serves Infants, Toddlers and Preschool age children from 8:00-5:00 M-Th. We provide the opportunity to develop skills in communication, self-help, social-emotional, fine motor, gross motor and cognition through play, creative art, sensory activities, nature-based exploration, music and movement, literature and more.

Duties

Caring for a group of children by providing a safe and nurturing space, developing relationships and providing age appropriate activities.
Collaborating with team members throughout the day in regards to daily routines, activities and curriculum to be implemented with the children present.

Requirements

An Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education as well as at least two years of experience in a group care setting.
