Seeking a Nurse Practitioner in our Emergency Department -
Ashland, Oregon

Asante Ashland Community Hospital is seeking a 0.75 FTE (three-quarter time) Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic group of physicians and advanced practice providers in our Emergency Services department. Our Emergency Department sees an average of 11K visits per year and provides services to patients in and around Jackson County.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

This is a 0.75 FTE position working a 9 hour shift, 1pm ? 10pm.

License / Certification: Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN). Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified from American Heart Association. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team (i.e. BLS, etc.); Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Experience: Minimum of two years NP experience in an Emergency Department is required. May also consider post-clinical experience as an NP with a minimum of 2 years in an emergency department as an RN.
