FIX-IT™ is an award- winning remodeling contractor helping homeowners improve their homes in the Richmond,Fredericksburg, and Tidewater area for over 52 years. The most successful representatives have the communication and interpersonal skills needed to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues in an efficient manner. Serving as the voice of our company, he or she will be integral to reinforcing our reputation for exceptional customer service.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reviewing projects with customers to ensure proper products are included in the contract and schedule project start date.
  • Provide 5-Star Customer Service.
  • Track status of materials and continuously update customers.
  • Process paperwork.
  • Manage a large volume of inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats with knowledge and efficiency.
  • Identify and address customer needs with a goal of complete satisfaction.
  • Build rapport with customers by engaging with them in an inviting, friendly, and professional manner, to deliver exceptional experiences and nurture lasting relationships.
  • Respond quickly, professionally, and accurately to all customer inquiries regarding, orders, status requests, scheduling, billing, and warranties.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be well spoken and able to effectively communicate with customer over the phone.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Scheduling experience a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail oriented- Ability to pay attention to minute details of a project or task.
  • Reliable transportation to office.
  • High School Diploma/Some College Preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Customer retention: 1 year (Preferred)
