Part-Time 7th To 12th Grade English/ History Teacher Job

Parnassus Preparatory Academy is a twice-weekly drop-off academic enrichment program supporting homeschool students in their pursuit of classical education. Classes are led by passionate and knowledgeable teachers and provide academic accountability and meaningful socialization. We seek teachers who are dedicated to the craft of teaching, know and love the subjects they teach, who understand and love children, and who are prepared to model the intellectual and moral virtue we seek to cultivate in our students. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced in-person History and English Language Arts Teacher for our upper school program (Grades 7th-12th). Candidates need not have a teaching credential but should have a college degree. Preference will be given to candidates with an advanced academic degree. A classical education background is helpful but not required.

Hours: Tuesday/Friday 12:30-3:30 In-Person. Training will take place in mid-August with classes start early September.
