Overview: POSITION SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial transactional real estate experience and will be responsible for performing diligence on title commitments, preparing and reviewing loan documents and related legal paperwork.

The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial transactional real estate experience and will be responsible for performing diligence on title commitments, preparing and reviewing loan documents and related legal paperwork.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Orders, reviews, and analyzes title commitments, recorded documents and surveys
- Review business entities and corporate formation agreements
- Review legal documents for completeness and accuracy
- Perform quality assurance reviews of documents to ensure lenders security interest and adherence to established policies and procedures
- Develop, monitor and update checklists for all commercial transactions
- Respond promptly and resolve any discrepancies in collateral and title documentation
- Ability to multitask by processing and prioritizing multiple files at the same time in different stages of the loan closing process
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production goals, while ensuring the level of expected service, quality and integrity of the loans are maintained
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:
- Experience with legal document software required - such as LaserPro, Wolters Kluwer or similar application
- Ability to read and interpret legal, entity and title transaction documents
- Have strong knowledge of collateral perfection for real estate
- Familiarity with drafting, reading and interpreting loan documents
- Ability to monitor and weigh risk of credit decisions outside of standard guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with staff, attorneys and clients on a daily basis as a team player
- Strong organizational and attention to detail required handling large volumes of work associated with each transaction
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must have strong skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
