Job Description

Responsibilities

Work Summary Assists painters with painting Helac products by performing the following duties. Description of Work Performed: 1. Uses a variety of hand tools and basic production equipment to prepare components for painting. 2. Regularly uses cranes (electric and pneumatic) to move Helac products for painting and to prep for shipping. 3. Assists painters by priming and preparing repetitive products. 4. Performs touch up paintwork as directed by painters. 5. Responsible for keeping paint pods stocked and filled. 6. Assists upper level painters in cleaning, organizing and maintaining the work areas and equipment. 7. Assists with packaging and shipping products to customers. 8. Maintains a clean work area and assists in departmental housekeeping. 9. Complies with safety procedures and company policies. 10. Completes additional duties and projects as assigned. 11. Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs.

Qualifications

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required 1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred, but not required. 2. The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal instructions is required in order to perform the duties described above. 3. Strong attention to detail. 4. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 5. Previous experience in this field preferred, but not required.
