PAID TRAINING & HEALTH INSURANCE-Eastvale/Jurupa Valley Tow Truck Operator

**Hiring for our Anaheim and Jurupa Valley/Riverside Area. All interviews take place at our corporate office located in Corona**

PURPOSE: Provide emergency road services to AAA members to service them in the most efficient manner. Respond to law enforcement agencies to accident scenes and impounds. Maintain safety and professionalism while responding to breakdowns and roadway emergency scenes.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, & EXPECTATIONS:
1. Be familiar with all procedures and regulations regarding emergency roadside service calls and general Towing.
2. Service members as necessary and provide acceptable response times.
3. Become familiar with and follow all company internal policies.
4. Respond to incoming emergency road service requests when required.
5. Ability to handle pressure and convey empathy to internal and external customers.
6. Work within assigned schedule to include a full workweek, rotating schedule, overtime as necessary and weekend availability if necessary.
7. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, SPECIFIC ABILITIES:
1. Previous Emergency Roadside Service Driver experience preferred but not required. We do offer paid training to the right candidates.
2. Ability to communicate with people in a calm, effective and positive manner.
3. A working knowledge of tow trucks to check fluids, check equipment, and properly use the truck and the equipment to service roadside emergencies.
4. Knowledge of local geography and major routes is a plus. Ability to use internet products to assist with location base searches.
5. Ability to complete tasks in detail and with accuracy.
6. Good reasoning ability and common sense.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR PAID TRAINING

• You must be a people person. Positive attitude in the face of stress and upset customers is required 100% of the time.
• You must be trainable. Paying attention and absorbing information is key. Bring a notebook if you must but don't be the trainee that has to be shown the same thing over and over.
• You must be a professional driver. Tow trucks are large, heavy, hard to stop vehicles. Speeding only causes accidents. You will be responding to emergency calls. You must not be ruled by adrenaline, but maintain a clear, focused head as you respond to calls. Texting and use of electronic devices while driving is prohibited. You must pull over to avoid distracted driving.
• You must have a clean criminal background. Our motor club contracts require an extensive background check. Our Law enforcement contracts require live scans through the DOJ.
• Drug use and mind altering substances are prohibited. We do mandatory random drug testing in accordance with our law enforcement contract requirements.

Pay: From $4,000.00 per month

COVID-19 considerations:
Covid cleaning stations are located throughout the offices. Trucks are equipped with sprays, wipes, gloves and masks. Drivers wipe down all customers surfaces after each use.
