Overnight Caregiver

We are looking for a competent, hardworking, and reliable Caregiver to care for our residents in a professional and compassionate manner. This is an overnight position, so hours from 11pm to 7am are to be expected, for which you will be compensated with a pay differential. This position can be very rewarding, because our residents are amazing and thankful for high quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help the residents.

Responsibilities

• Help residents take prescribed medication
• Assist residents with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist residents with personal care and hygiene
• Perform light housekeeping duties that residents can’t complete on their own
• Be pleasant and supportive
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver is helpful
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
