Orthodontic Walkover

The orthodontic walkover coordinator is the liaison between our pediatric patients, parents, and the Orthodontist. The orthodontic walkover coordinator is expected to schedule as many pediatric patients as possible on the orthodontic side of our office. This position will educate our patient in recommended orthodontic treatment.

San Diego County, for all of our locations as follows: Chula Vista, Eastlake, Kearny Mesa, Carmel Valley, Oceanside, & Escondido (Travel May Apply)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect and locate all patient information for every 7 years of age and older patients on the pediatric schedule in Dentrix and Ortho-trac.
• Generate walkover report in Dentrix and check for orthodontic status.
• Arrive at each pediatric exam paged for Orthodontist.
• Educate each recommended ortho walkover patient and parent on recommendations from the Orthodontists.
• Schedule each ortho walkover patient in Ortho-trac.
• Report end of day walkover numbers in Excel.
• Must have an outgoing personality and empathy for patients to build rapport.
• Must be comfortable with public speaking.
• Ability to multitask, while keeping all projects moving forward.
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years customer service experience
• Must be fluent in English, Spanish speaking not required, but is a plus.
• Must be a motivated, energetic, and happy person who enjoys working w/ kids and parents.
• Must have reliable transportation.

EDUCATION

High school diploma/GED certified
