Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Hospitality Dental is seeking a part-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant traveling between our six Inland Empire locations 2-4 days per week. This position will be 14 days per month, 5 of which will be at our San Bernardino location, and the other 7 days will be traveling to our other locations, including: Rancho Cucamonga, Hesperia, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, and Riverside.

The Orthodontic Dental Assistant is responsible for ensuring our patients are receiving complete hospitality dental treatment as well as assisting the dentist in the clinical treatment.

Orthodontic Dental Assistant Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing patient history
• Confirming that chart documentation is standardized and accurate
• Assisting with X-rays when needed
• Working closely with doctors in order to accomplish daily goals
• Scheduling next appointment and assisting with any appointments to Hygiene
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments in central sterilization
• Preparing trays
• Checking appearance of treatment room after every patient and clean as necessary
• Assisting doctor with continuing care exams
• Checking supplies and replenishing treatment rooms as necessary

Requirements:

• Willing to travel between the following office locations: San Bernardino, Riverside, Rancho Cucamonga, Hesperia, Rancho Mirage, & Palm Desert.
• RDA, DA or OA license preferred
• Flexible schedule with open availability M-F
• Exceptional customer service skills
• 1 year of experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with the following preferred, but not required: Invisalign Scanning, Banding/Bonding brackets & invisalign attachments, Taking and pouring impressions, Changing wires.
